Liang Qiu

My name is Liang Qiu. I design algorithms and write code to build intelligent interactive systems. My research interests include Natural Language Processing and Dialogue Systems. My long-term research goal is to improve the EQ (aligning AI with human values, mental state modeling, and social relation inference) and IQ (mathematical reasoning with deep learning) of agents. I am also interested in grammatical inference from sequential data.

I served as a reviewer of ACL, NeurIPS, EMNLP, SIGDIAL, NLPCC, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing (TASLP), Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR), etc.
